Description

Grablink Quickpack ColorScan is an image conditioner. An image conditioner combines on a single board the functions of image acquisition and image processing. Grablink Quickpack ColorScan acquires and processes data from machine vision RGB line-scan cameras.

Grablink Quickpack ColorScan receives its data from the camera. After reordering, the data are processed and form an image that resides in the on-board frame store. A conditioner exercises the following functional blocks: scan-delay compensator, shading corrector, LUT —Look-Up Table— operator and DMA —Direct Memory Access— engine. This last block, the DMA engine, is responsible for the transfer of the processed data to the computer memory.

Grablink Quickpack ColorScan interfaces to Base configuration Camera Link line-scan cameras rated from 20 to 60 MHz, single or dual tap, with 8-, 10- or 12-bit data. Grablink Quickpack ColorScan has an on-board 32 MB memory and a 64-bit, 66 MHz Conventional PCI bus that offers up to 240 MB/s of delivery bandwidth.. It can also pre-process up to 50M Pixels/s

In addition to the camera interfaces, Grablink Quickpack ColorScan exposes multiple general purpose I/O lines to ease the board integration in industrial systems. Available on the auxiliary bracket, on a standard DB-9 connector, there are 4 isolated I/O with their associated power supply.

Euresys provides MultiCam interface to operate Grablink Quickpack ColorScan on various Windows and Linux operating systems. Through this interface, Grablink Quickpack ColorScan acquires images easily and efficiently for your application.

Grablink Quickpack ColorScan fully complies with FCC and CE EMC —electromagnetic compatibility— international standards.
