Camera Link Connectors

The Base Camera Link connector and the Medium/Full Camera Link connector are Shrunk Delta Ribbon – SDR – 26-contacts female connectors. The connector shell is fitted with 2 UNC4-40 female screw locks.

The connectors are fully compliant with the Miniature Camera Link (MiniCL) connector described in the Annex D version 1.2 of the Camera Link specification.
The connectors are fully compliant with the Annex E – Power over Camera Link (PoCL) – of the Camera Link specification.
The pin layout of the Base Camera Link connector is fully compliant with the Camera Link cable pinout for Base configuration frame grabbers.
The pin layout of the Medium/Full Camera Link connector is fully compliant with the Camera Link cable pinout for Medium and Full configuration frame grabbers.

Notes

A Base configuration camera must be connected to the Base Camera Link connector.
It is not allowed to connect a Base configuration camera on the Medium/Full Camera Link connector.
It is mandatory to connect the first connector of a Medium/Full/80-bit camera to the Base Camera Link connector, and to connect the second connector of a Medium/Full/80-bit camera to the Medium/Full Camera Link connector.
