This parameter, along with HVdriveEdge, declares the attributes of the synchronization signals applied to the camera feeding the channel.

It is applicable to analog area-scan cameras able to receive their horizontal and vertical synchronization from the frame grabber. This is sometime referred to as genlocking the camera.
