This duration is normally counted as a number of video lines. In case of interlaced scanning, and for some special tap structures, the counting unit is the video half-line.
This parameter is applicable to analog area-scan cameras able to receive their horizontal and vertical synchronization from the frame grabber. This is sometimes referred to as genlocking the camera.
It declares the duration timing requirement for the vertical synchronizing pulse. The period timing requirement results from the value of Vtotal_Ln.
