Timing Units
Structure
A timing unit is a set of analog and digital resources aimed at producing all internal and external relevant timing signals in relation with a camera.
A timing unit is closely associated to a camera connector. According to the synchronization mode, the timing unit delivers timing data to the camera, and/or senses timing data from the camera.
The timing units structure can be conceptualized as follows.
Structure
The task of a timing unit is to generate appropriate timing signal to the digitizing unit.
Master Operation
When operated in the master synchronization mode, Domino Iota delivers a horizontal drive pulse to the camera.
The frequency of this synchronization signal, as reported by the LineRate_Hz parameter, is restricted to the following values:
- 15,625 Hz
- 15,734 Hz
- 23,230 Hz
- 31,250 Hz
- 31,468 Hz
