LUT_Emphasis
This control is applicable exclusively with the Emphasis parametric LUT definition method.
This control allows transforming an image using a power-law expression:
The g (gamma) exponent is mathematically linked to LUT_Emphasis by:
- The smallest g achieved for LUT_Emphasis = 1.00 is: g = 0.1.
- The linear law is obtained with for LUT_Emphasis = 0.00.
- The largest g achieved for LUT_Emphasis = -1.00 is: g = 10.
To achieve a required given g, the LUT_Emphasis control should be set to:
The default value of LUT_Emphasis is 0.
