The horizontal reference instant corresponds to the leading edge of the horizontal synchronization pulse embedded in the analog video signal.
This parameter applies to area-scan cameras delivering a separate vertical synchronization pulse, used by the frame grabber to monitor the camera timing (digital synchronization mode).
The delay is a positive number when the video composite synchronization occurs after the applied horizontal drive pulse.
