A new channel creation model is available on Domino Alpha 2.

Connectors X and Y, Lanes X1 and Y1 |
The first camera is attached on connector X and delivers video data into Lane X1; the second camera is attached on connector Y and delivers data in Lane Y1. A unique Timing Machine controls both cameras.
A single system trigger and a single strobe output are available.
Only one STEREOXY Channel is active at a time on a board.
Camera Configurations
Channel creation model STEREOXY is compatible with analog single-tap camera using Master Synchronization.
Both cameras must be perfectly identical. No specific CAM files are required.
Camera Cables
Channel creation model STEREOXY assigns 1 camera per connector and allows usage of classical non-split cables. No specific cables are required.
Data Storage Format
Channel parameter ImagePlaneCount and Surface parameter PlaneCount select the data storage format:
- ImagePlaneCount = 2 and PlaneCount = 2 select a two-planes surface; each plane receives the image from one of the cameras. The ImageSizeX parameter reflects the common width of the images.
- ImagePlaneCount = 1 and PlaneCount = 1 select a single-plane surface; image from camera attached on connector X is stored in the left-half of the surface while the other is stored in the right-half. The resulting composite image has a double-width. It is reflected by the ImageSizeX parameter.
MultiCam Settings
- To enable StereoVision on Domino Alpha 2, set BoardTopology = 1_1.
- Create a Channel with STEREOXY model.
