Aspect Ratio

FRAME, CIF and QCIF maintain the aspect ratio of the images coming from the camera. FIELD does not, but it benefits from the highest horizontal resolution without interlacing effect.

The pictures below show how the aspect ratio is affected in the various resolutions. The image is 768 x 576 coming from a PAL camera.
