CamFiles Templates Overview
There are 3 templates for area-scan cameras covering the three most popular area-scan camera configurations:
- PxxSC: Progressive, synchronous operation, camera-controlled exposure, area-scan camera
- PxxRC: Progressive, asynchronous reset operation, camera-controlled exposure, area-scan camera
- PxxRG: Progressive asynchronous reset operation, grabber-controlled exposure, area-scan camera
There are 6 templates for line-scan cameras:
- Four templates without the suffix _DR are targeting applications where the downweb resampling function is not used.
There is one template for each of the four most popular line-scan camera configurations:- LxxxxSP: Free-running, permanent exposure, line-scan camera
- LxxxxRP: Grabber-controlled rate, permanent exposure, line-scan camera
- LxxxxRC: Progressive, asynchronous reset operation, camera-controlled exposure, area-scan camera
- LxxxxRG: Progressive, asynchronous reset operation, grabber-controlled exposure, area-scan camera
- Two templates with the suffix _DR are targeting applications using the downweb resampling function of the Euresys frame grabbers. By default, the templates select the "Pick-A-Line" downweb resampling method, but it can be customized to use the "ADR" downweb resampling method that is available only on some frame grabbers.
There is one template for each of the two most popular line-scan camera configurations with permanent exposure:- LxxxxSP_DR: Free-running, permanent exposure, line-scan camera
- LxxxxRP_DR: Grabber-controlled rate, permanent exposure, line-scan camera
All the templates select a monochrome camera by default. However, they can be customized in order to support RGB color or Bayer color cameras.
